Inspiring Feedback from our Learners!

BrightSparks’ training team have had a great time delivering our “Essential Skills for Working With Children and Young People” course over the past year, funded by the European Social Fund.

Held in Scarborough, Selby and York, each course aimed to help people gain the confidence, employability skills and knowledge to work or volunteer with children or young people.

Course trainers, Katie, Chris and Jackie, are very proud of all the learners that have completed the course and inspired by all the lovely feedback they have received from participants:

“The course has really given me a boost of confidence. It has made me more aware of how many roles are available when working with children and young people. The course was well run, plenty of useful handouts and lots of support from tutors. It was great to have the option to speak to the tutor in between the weekly sessions. A thoroughly enjoyable and useful course.”

“I have developed my knowledge on working with children and young people, particularly in relation to mental health. The course has also developed my confidence and self-esteem, making me realise that I have more skills than I first thought.”

“Tutors were amazing and explained everything brilliantly and clearly. We all had a great laugh.”

“Everyone bonded and helped each other to gain knowledge and understanding. It has been a positive environment.”

“Thank you for the opportunity of the course. The tutors are great and have definitely helped my self confidence. I feel like I have been guided to knowing my next steps and I have really enjoyed the course.”

“Thank you for your ‘all inclusive’ attention and support during this course. Your nurturing care and support is heartwarming! CONFIDENCE BUILDING!”

We know that these learners will go on to do great things!
