This course is perfect for new social entrepreneurs or small to medium size community organisations that are looking to access funding through grants and fundraising activities.
What's included?
This course is taught in three sessions by a highly experienced tutor.
Session 1: Grant funding
This session will focus on understanding how to access funding opportunities from Philanthropic Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Funders. It will specifically explore how to understand what each Funder is looking for and how to position your organisation or service within the funding application.
Session 2: Community fundraising
In this session we look at donor engagement and the steps needed to move prospective different audiences towards becoming regular donors, by using fundraising methods such as events, promotion, sponsorship and outreach activities.
Session 3: Digital fundraising
In this session we will explore how to build an engaged online audience and the different types of online fundraising methods that can be used to encourage this audience to become regular donors.
