Participants will gain skills and knowledge about the labour market and education system, increasing their confidence in their language skills and ability to contribute to the world of work/education.
Topics covered on the course include:
- Understanding the education system
- Developing skills for employability
- Presentation skills
- Opportunities Fair (where representatives from local FE/HE providers, plus the national careers centre and job centre will be invited in to demonstrate what is available)
Who is this course for?
Adult refugees who have recently arrived and resettled in the UK - to be delivered in partnership with Local Authorities and refugee organisations.

This course is taught by two highly experienced tutors to ensure all learners have the opportunity to ask questions and get the most possible from the course.
