BrightSparks Secure £14,000 Funding for Doncaster Community Group
BrightSparks' sister company Social Impact Services was recently commissioned by a Doncaster community group to develop a funding bid for the area's first Caribbean Carnival.
After running a successful Caribbean Family Fun Day last year that attracted over 2,000 people, the community group behind the event set their sights on something even more ambitious: a 3 day Caribbean Carnival. It was at this point they got in touch with Social Impact Services for help with writing a funding bid.
Social Impact Services successfully secured £14,000 from Arts Council England, enabling the group to reach their funding target and run the event.
